Kids Dig it! Medieval Family Fun

Keep the whole family entertained with Medieval fun as the Abbey Museum prepares for its 30th Abbey Medieval Festival.

The Museum is hosting lots of medieval activities and workshops for kids between the 1st and 5th of July as part of the Abbey Medieval Festival.

There’s plenty of fascinating things to discover and experience across the week.

Activities like archery, a mini archaeological dig, page training, and medieval games will keep energetic kids entertained.

For the more artistically inclined, activities include shield painting, embroidery, brass rubbing, paper crafts, and illuminating letters.

These activities and many more will be running throughout the week, with most of the activities included in the cost of admission, which is only $25 for 2 adults and up to 4 children, so if you’re looking for a fun, affordable, family activity, The Abbey Museum has it covered.
