On the menu: Curator's tour

Join us on World Food Day as we consider how we cook, eat and think about food.

Enjoy a special guided tour of the exhibition On the menu and hear insider stories from co-curator and Collections Officer, Julie Martin. The exhibition features over 150 objects from the Moreton Bay Regional Council Heritage Collection that tell the story of Australian food culture and its evolution - from an abundance of native ingredients to waves of imported influences.

World Food Day is celebrated annually by the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO). Food connects us all and, on World Food Day, the FAO calls on us to think about what we eat. Achieving its target - Zero Hunger by 2030 - is not only about feeding the hungry, but also nourishing people, while nurturing the planet.

Free. RSVP required.
